Monument to the Sea

2018, Locust Projects, Miami
During a 1 hour period, my body and and seawater performed together: I moved the water higher, while it tried to return to the ground through a tube running onto my mouth.  The air in my lungs tried to resist the water as I used 4 car jacks to precariously raise 300lbs of water to a total height of 9ft.
