Floor Extrusion

The Elsewhere building decays with time, sags from shifting foundations, and has been cut by artists until it is no longer architecture, but a viscous fluid in a constant state of change. With this in mind, Floor Extrusion replicates an original linoleum floor pattern on the ceiling below, as if the pattern seeped through the floorboards. As you approach the installation the grid pattern is not recognizable, but as you move under the extrusion, it becomes evident.
